Located by Cypress Mountain Ski Resort, after you park by the Cypress Mountain Lodge begin making yourway towards the Sunshine Chair Lift. Your journey begins here as you follow the Howe Sound Crest Trail.

Following a series of switchbacks on a well-paved trail, you may come across many hikers as this trail is quite popular. About 4 km into your hike, you will be gaining roughly 500 m and reach your destination.

You can continue down the path and go bush whacking to enter a cliff-esque part of the area, which is quite spectacular (refer to photos).

The Howe Sound Crest Trail continues onward towards the Lions if one is feeling adventurous. It is important to understand that hiking, climbing and scrambling up the Lion's Peaks should only be done when the conditions are favourable. Many people have died and/or required rescue whilst trying to reach the peaks.

*There will be wildlife around (i.e. birds and bears), please refrain from feeding the birds. They do respond favourably when you hold out food, but feeding any sort of wildlife will only cause more harm than good.

*If going through any bushy regions, check for ticks during and after the hike as ticks can be a problem during specific seasons.
