Although this is not a hike, this location offers a great view of Downtown Vancouver during the day or at night! Here's how you can get there:

By Car:

1. From Downtown Vancouver, take the Lions Gate Bridge and follow the signs to Highway One (via Taylor Way)

2. Continue west, take Exit #8 onto Cypress Bowl Road

3. Follow Cypress Bowl Road up a few kilometers until before a bend where you will see an area for parking

By Public Transit:

1. From Downtown Vancouver, take the Skytrain or Bus to Waterfront Station, connecting via Seabus to the Lonsdale Quay Bus Terminal in North Vancouver

2. Hop onto the Cypress Mountain Express Bus at the terminal

 

* I am unsure if this bus has a stop by Cypress Lookout, but if not, it will bring you all the way up to Cypress Mountain where you can start another adventure (Take a look at St. Mark's Summit).
