Located in between Squamish and Whistler, British Columbia, the trailhead to this beautiful place can be accessed by car. Once at the trailhead, start hiking on the Garibaldi Lake Trail along a series of switchbacks. One will eventually reach a marked fork in the trail; turning right will bring you to another featured destination, Garibaldi Lake, and turning left will bring you towards Taylor Meadows campground. Make the right turn, which will funnel you towards the path of Garibaldi Lake and Garibaldi Lake Campgrounds.

*Note that turning left will bring you toward Panorama Ridge, Helm Lake, Black Tusk and other destinations - please view the Panorama Ridge hiking details for more information.

Along the way towards Garibaldi Lake, you will notice a few viewpoints. Take your time to trek that 100 m to check out the view!

This hike is well laid out and is hard for one to get lost on. You may see a lot of people gathered around Garibaldi Lake, which is very common, but don't let them ruin your view of the mountains and glacier. Take a dip in the water to cool off if you are going on a hot, sunny day. You deserve it!

*You may notice a lot of people camping at the Garibaldi Lake Campgrounds. These people are either: (a) splitting this hike into a multiday hike, (b) hiking toward the Black Tusk, (c) hiking toward Panorama Ridge, or (d) hiking toward further destinations located beyond Taylor Meadows
