Believe it or not, a lot of tourists would pay big bucks to go and visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge, but a lot of them do not know about the FREE suspension bridge located just a short drive away!

Following Lynn Valley Road up to Peters Road, you will arrive at the gates of Lynn Canyon Park with limited parking spaces. You will soon come across the suspension bridge I am talking about and will have a chance to cross it. Upon crossing it you will have to make a choice to turn left (towards 30 ft pool) or to turn right (towards Twin Falls).

Many people make their way towards 30 ft pool because of the clear mountain waters that pool up before heading down under the bridge. Here, you will encounter families, rowdy teenagers, daredevils and a lot of dogs.

It is not advised to be jumping off the cliffs and into the pool as many do injure themselves, but I am also not your parent(s) so feel free to do as you please! Many people have also advertised a waterfall slide just underneath the bridge, that is also a bad idea as many do drown and require rescue after passing down the waterfall.

Lynn Canyon is massive, feel free to explore safely and responsibly.

*It can be noted that taking the #228 or #229 will take you to Lynn Valley Center where you  then transfer onto #227, which will take you to Peters Road and to the gates of Lynn Canyon Park.
