This hike/trail run can be accessed at the end of Lynn Valley Road where parking is made available at Lynn Headwaters. Upon crossing the pedestrian bridge, you can either turn right or left to begin the hike. Veering left with introduce you to a nice gravel path to begin and veering right will result in a more forested area of the loop. Regardless of which way you choose, you will have to experience both the gravel and the forest; hence the "loop" part of the hike.

This trail makes for a good area to run or even for family hikes as it is not a particularly difficult hike to complete. You will be enveloped by the luscious green vegetation and experience the different trails that lead into the backcountry. In the middle of the loop you will be welcomed by a sign that points towards Norvan Falls. This trail can also be completed within a day and you will be rewarded with a gorgeous waterfall at the end.

I personally would turn right into the forest and complete the loop with the gravel as I enjoy ending the hike with something less taxing on my body (i.e. knees).

With all things considered, this hike is a good one for those looking for some exercise or some time away from the city.

*It can be noted that taking the #228 or #229 will take you to Lynn Valley Center where it is only a 20-minute walk to the trailhead. If you don't feel like starting your adventure early, you can then transfer onto #227, which will take you to Peters Road. It is then a 5-10 minute walk uphill to the road leading you to the trailhead.
