This walk is accessible by the following options:

  1. Walking down the Peak Express Traverse towards the Peak Express chairlift and taking that up to the summit

  2. Taking the Pika's Traverse Road - Mathew's Traverse Road

  3. High Note Trail onto Half Note Trail

Regardless of how you get to the Whistler Summit Interpretive Walk... just get there! This walk offers up incredible views of the surrounding mountains and ranges. It provides great photo opportunities as well as a great spot for a quick bite!

Take your time with the walk to enjoy the crisp mountain air along with the variety of wildlife you may meet along the trail. It is very common to come face to face with Marmots, and Chipmunks. The wild alpine flowers are also something you may want to enjoy as you may not see them at lower elevations!

*It is important to follow the instruction(s) provided by the signs. There are areas that involve cliff and exposure please be aware if you are not ready to scramble or climb. DO NOT CROSS BARRIERS... though I am not your parent and can't say I haven't crossed the barriers myself... it is extremely dangerous!

* Bring a sweater up with you! You are about 2184 m up and it does get chilly! Be aware, be prepared, and have fun!
